Edgewater Pediatric dentistry was an amazing experience. I took my 5-year-old for a tooth infection. The office was really cool and clean. The staff was super friendly. There was no wait time, and I was able to fill all the paperwork prior to the visit. My son needed dental surgery and the Dr. had the anesthesiologist call me to clarify my concerns. The Dr. herself called me to follow up on my son and I was very impressed by that. When you go to Edgewater Pediatric Dentistry you feel that they really care about your child. My son liked that they had his favorite show playing specifically for him in the room. He also thought that it was a magic trick that a picture I had sent of him was in the computer. Meet Sybil Padavathil, DDS

Sybil Padavathil, DDSDr. Padavathil (“Dr.Sybil”) is a transplant from the Sunshine State! She was born and raised in the Fort Lauderdale area and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. She then moved up north to pursue her dental education at Boston University. After completing a residency in Brooklyn and working for one year as a general dentist, Dr. Sybil decided that her passion was working with children. She then went back into training to complete her two-year residency in pediatrics where she treated countless patients from all backgrounds and needs. Being a mom of two, Dr. Sybil strives to provide the highest quality of care that she would want for her own children. She is experienced with meeting the needs of patients who would be better treated with sedation services including General Anesthesia, IV sedation, or nitrous oxide.
Meet Yasmin Tontat, DMD, MPH

Yasmin Tontat, DMD, MPHDr. Tontat, DMD (“Dr. Yasmin”) is so excited to be joining Edgewater Pediatric Dentistry! She is passionate about oral health and helping families build meaningful relationships with their dental team. Originally from sunny southern California, Dr. Yasmin studied Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she concurrently received her Masters of Public Health through the Perelman School of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to expand her training on caring for children with different neurodevelopmental disabilities.
